ON THE COVER OF BOTTOM LINE MAGAZINE

Check out the December 15th, 2005 issue of the Bottom Line Magazine. The front cover has an article about the best things Wayne Dyer, Ph.D. and I did in 2005. You will see a color picture of both of us on the cover. Will you try doing those things yourself in 2006. What do you think about what Dr. Dyer had to say? Do you agree with my thoughts?

The End Of The Year Is Near

We are heading to December and the end of the year is near. I realize that on December 24th of this year, I will have been happy for 15 years. That is 25% of my life. It has been the best thing I have ever done! I did not know any better, or I would have done it even sooner. I have no regrets because being happy leaves you with none. It is the best decision I have ever made.

I did not know it at the time but Being Happy was not just good for me, it was good for everyone around me. This website, the articles I write, the Happiness Club that was created all came about because I decided to be happy. I did not do it for you; I made the decision to be happy for me. As it turns out it is a decision that ultimately affect you.

You see we are all interconnected and the unhappiness or happiness of just one single person affects a great many people. You cannot become a happy person without positively affecting those around you. Of course the opposite is also true. You cannot be an unhappy person without negatively affecting those around you.

But you must do what is best for you. The best you can do for yourself is to choose happiness now. Fifteen happy years goes by very quickly. But they are a great deal more rewarding than a lifetime of unhappy years, no matter how many you may be given.

Happy Thanks Giving

Hello My Dear Friend!

I am new to Bloging and I just wrote a new blog and it got deleted. Rather than forget about the message I was going to give you, I will give you this message.

When things just don't go the way you wanted them to...Just accept it! It is a pretty simple way to live. Do whatever you have to do, but don't fight what you can't change.

Acceptance is freedom and liberation at the highest level. The message I wrote was a different one, but it was about passing on happiness to you. So the words may be different but the message is ultimately the same one.

Being Happy is the way to go! Don't allow anything to stop you or get in the way of your happiness. After all the only reason you are unhappy is because you want to be happy. The only thing that can stop you is.......YOU! The only thing that can make you happy is.......YOU!

You are very powerful! May your force be with YOU!

HAPPINESS IS A VOTE FOR FREEDOM!

Did you vote for your freedom today! Yes, I know that this is the day after Election Day, but did you vote for your own freedom today? Every day, every hour and every moment you can cast a vote for yourself. A vote for your own happiness is a vote for your own freedom. When you're happy you make your vote count. In fact by being happy your vote counts for others as well. By being happy they can count on you to make it a better day in every way.

It is amazing how we are ready to vote for others so they can represent us. But when it comes to standing up for ourselves are we letting ourselves down? If you are not for your self than you may be too dependent on others for your happiness. If you are only for yourself than you're not much good for anyone else are you? So we need to take the middle way here and look out for ourselves as well as others. Only a happy person can do that. Being good to others can cause a good person to burn out. If you are a good person and you're not being happy within yourself first and foremost, you will be unable to continue being good or you will find it a real hardship.

Your vote counts…use it, exercise it for your own benefit. Your vote is like making a choice. You can choose something good for yourself or you can choose something that is not as good for yourself. Why not choose the best thing for yourself. If you are not choosing happiness then you are throwing away your votes, your rights and your freedom. By being happy we free ourselves, for the most part, from the circumstances of life. We allow ourselves to deal with life and the problems we each face by being big enough to understand that unhappiness will never solve any of our problems. We begin to understand that by being unhappy, we in fact, make our problems ten times worse.

Thomas Jefferson said, “Happiness is not being pained in body or troubled in mind.” By making your Declaration of Happiness you will be stating your independence. If you are unhappy, at the present time, then you are dependent on other people and situations to make you happy. Break free of those chains; proclaim your independence from dependence. Don't be dependent on anything to make you happy. As Robert Louis Stevenson said, "The habit of being happy enables one to be freed, or largely freed, from the domination of outward conditions."

We have voted ourselves more money, bigger houses, newer, faster and better cars but they have not delivered their promise to us. The politics of money convinced us to work long and hard and to give up many important things to get more of it so we can obtain the campaign promise it sold us. The politics of money does not live up to its campaign promise because what we really want from life…is happiness. The only way to get it is to vote for it right now. By choosing to be happy you cast your vote and you make it count.

We have had enough promises and false leadership by others willing to show us the way to happiness. There is no way to happiness; we must make happiness the way! If we are not voting for happiness every chance we get then we are wasting our votes on things that do not count. Happiness is the real reason we do everything we do. Everything we do in life is a means to an end, except being happy which is an end in itself. So why take the long way; let's take the short cut. Life is too short for the long way, and it just keeps getting busier all the time.

The time is now, you're the leader that is needed and you must vote for yourself. Your vote counts…use it always! When it comes to happiness vote early and as often as possible. It is a free country but you must vote for what you want. So don't waste your vote on unhappiness because you already know it can't deliver for you. Only happiness can lead the way and brighten your life as well as others.

What is happiness? Happiness is an inner state of well being. It is a state of well being that enables you to profit from your highest thoughts; wisdom, intelligence, common sense, emotions, health, and spiritual values. Happiness is a positive state of mind, and in many ways happiness cannot be defined because it is an individual reality. Happiness is a state of mental health. Happiness is a state of wealth. Happiness grants you the capacity to satisfy your desires.

Your vote for happiness will never let you down. Your vote for happiness is a vote for your freedom and the freedom of others. It is your right to be happy and do what is best for yourself. Stand up for your freedom! You can count on happiness to deliver the campaign promise of a better life for you and your loved ones. Election or selection, happiness is yours either way but your vote counts!

"Unconditional Happiness"

As more people discover the simple, but not always easy, practice of "Unconditional Happiness" we will all better off. Someone posted on this blog that they are learning Unconditional Happiness but have not yet perfected it. They went on to say that they think that they are still better of than people who are not even aware of this concept. Now this is an intelligent person and how right you are my friend.

The real problem in life is that we have a conditioned response to everything bad. We "react" to things we do not agree with nor accept. That usually hurts no one but the person doing the reacting. Why suffer? Haven't we had enough suffering? Have you had enough? Than the time to practice "Unconditional Happiness" is NOW!

All you really need to do is to be aware of how much you are hurting yourself by not accepting things you really can't change right now. To accept whatever happens unconditionally in this moment; is the beginning of your journey to an enlighten state of happiness, peace and freedom.

Did you really think you had to change the world to become happy. Unconditional Happiness is the most powerful thing you can do in this world. No one can argue with total acceptance of what has happened now. It does not mean you have to like it. You have the power right now to tap into this Unconditional Happiness mind set so you do need not be manipulated by external circumstances.

Choose to be free, decide that "Being Happy" is the best thing you can become and keep learning all about "Unconditional Happiness.!" Happy trails to you!

HAPPY QUOTES

Happiness can grow in any soil, live in any condition. It defies environment. It comes from within; it's the revelation of the depths of the inner life as light and heat proclaim the sun from which they radiate. Happiness consists not of having, but of being; not of possessing, but of enjoying. It is the warm glow of a heart at peace with it's self... Happiness is the soul's joy in the possession of the intangible... Happiness is paradoxical because it may coexist with trial, sorrow and poverty. It is the gladness of the heart, rising superior to all conditions...
- William George Jordan
*
You already have everything you need to be happy.
The realization that this is true is all you need.
- Lionel Ketchian author of Food for Thought
*
Happiness consists in being perfectly satisfied with what we have got and with what we haven't got. It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.
- Spurgeon.
*
The habit of being happy enables one to be freed,
or largely freed, from the domination of outward conditions.
- Robert Louis Stevenson
